I have always viewed myself as a community lawyer. Cooperation and building consensus have been among my strengths, but in the context of litigation, I understand deadlines and promoting my client’s interests. Sometimes promoting those interests involves explaining the downside of some particular position that my client might have, and may in fact result in unintended and negative consequences. I’ll hang in there for you, but getting an efficient and cost-effective outcome involves building mutual trust.
